Grief is a natural response to losing someone who
was important to an individual. When a death tears a
world apart, grieving is the process that helps put it
back together
While this process is natural, it is also highly individual. How a person grieves depends on a number of factors including age, sex-role conditioning, religious beliefs, previous experience with death, the age of the deceased and the circumstances of death. Recognizing the complexities of coping with the loss of a loved one, Panciera Memorial Home offers to our friends, and to anyone in need, our Extended Care Program. The Legacy Protection Program offering Elder Care & Estate Planning, Long Term Care and Advance Funeral Planning is available at Panciera Memorial Home. Please contact Alan Mark at 954-989-9900 for detailed information. The extended care program also encompasses other funeral and community related services and activities such as financial fairs, holiday support seminars, school support counseling, career days, hospice community council, holiday and veteran memorial events, and the exclusive Family Considerations Program. Group sessions (child loss and general bereavement) are conducted monthly and discuss the grief process in an open and informal atmosphere. Participants not only benefit from the informational segment of the program, but also enjoy the opportunity to meet others... extending that friendship beyond the program. More importantly, participants leave with a renewed perspective on life. In addition to these courses, the funeral home offers a variety of support services including the following:
Services provided under our Extended Care Program are
offered free of charge. Information about the program can
